VALUATION: THE METHOD
Our valuation method "Capitalisation of Future Maintainable Earnings" is commonly used in the valuation of businesses and is based on the future maintainable earnings divided by an appropriate rate of return.
The Future Maintainable Earnings (FME) used in the valuation is directly related to the historical financial performance of the business with consideration from benchmarks of similar pharmacies. The calculation of an appropriate Capitalisation Rate utilises a model which takes into account over 30 variables related to the pharmacy including quantitative data and qualitative data.
From our vast experience in the health industry, we have developed quality control systems which alert us of any abnormal results reported in the Financial Statements that require investigation. A discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis is also provided using sustainable growth estimates to validate our results.
