Last Thursday, (17th November, 2006), The Pharmacy Guild of Australia signed an agreement with the government to reduce the costs of generics to consumers: "The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has today accepted the Government’s Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) Reform Proposals because it delivers lower generic prices to patients and a sustainable PBS for the future."
