Pharmacy Study Tour 2019

14 to 18 January - Niseko, Japan

Join us for our 22nd Pharmacy Study Tour! This year we are heading back to Japan. Niseko Ski Resort, is officially Japan’s #1 snow resort, located in Hokkaido. Comprised of 4 interlinked ski resorts, it is renowned for its consistency and quality of powder snow throughout the winter. Averaging around 15m+ of snow each season, Niseko is famous for its wide open powder bowls and tree runs.

THE CONFERENCE
This is a unique opportunity to benefit your business, learning direct from Medici Capital and Frank Sirianni’s expertise in the Pharmacy Industry. Guest speakers on topical pharmacy business issues will also join the tour.

Conference Focus:

  • To create an environment for forward thinking and practice development.
  • Identify and minimise risks in your business.
  • The exchange of ideas and new business initiatives among the group.
  • Exposure to culturally different retail and service environments with a view to understanding new initiatives and opportunities in pharmacy practice, marketing and general retailing.
  • Identify ‘inputs’ for your own pharmacy strategic plan for implementation on your return to Australia.

With conference sessions held in the afternoon, there is plenty of time to network with other delegates and speakers, as well as explore all that Niseko and the surrounding areas have to offer.

NISEKO, JAPAN
Niseko is the largest ski resort in Japan and is made up of four resorts – Grand Hirafu, Niseko, Hanazono and Annupuri – all clinging to the sides of Mt Annupuri. The conference will be based in the town of Hirafu which has the bulk of the accommodation.

With an average for 15m of powder every winter, the Niseko ski resort gets the Powderhounds' award for the best ski terrain in Japan. Niseko also gets other "best skiing in Japan" awards for best powder, best off-piste terrain, best backcountry and best overall resort in Japan. Niseko has a lot going for it!

Niseko Ski Resort is suited to skiers and boarders of all ability levels. There are a large variety of groomed runs that are ideal for families, beginners and intermediates.

For the more advanced skiers, Niseko also has great off-piste skiing. Another element that sets Niseko apart from many other Japanese ski resorts is the combination of both alpine and tree skiing.
