2012 Conference Improvements

• Medici Capital is again seeking CPD accreditation for this conference, so keep an eye out for further announcements. In 2011, 24 Group 2 CPD credits were available to conference attendees.
• This year, we'll be focussing on a new and improved content. Topics will include managing a business, cost control, marketing, human resource management, succession planning, pharmacy industry updates and more!
• In response to attendee demands, this year's conference will commence on Saturday evening and conclude on Wednesday night. This will allow pharmacists to make the most of their weekend at the snow, and reduce the amount of time spent away from their business. Another great reason to attend!
• Should the weather and skiing conditions not be in our favour at the time, we're organising plenty of options to keep you entertained.

Who Should Attend?

Pharmacists, pharmacy owners, pharmacy students, their families and friends are all welcome to attend the Pharmacy Snow Business Conference and enjoy networking with pharmacists from across Australia. This conference hosts an impressive list of industry experts, with pharmacists from a wide variety of backgrounds sharing their knowledge and experiences.

For those of you who have not skied before, this is the perfect time to begin! You will be surrounded by a great group, all with varied skiing abilities.

Program

Registration Evening – Saturday 11^th August 2012
Delegates, speakers and sponsors meet to register, collect conference material and introduce themselves to the group over informal drinks and finger food.

MORNINGS: Free - Sunday 12^th - Wednesday 15^th August 2012
Each morning is free for delegates to enjoy the snow and the countless activities Mt Buller has to offer. Or if you prefer… simply relax!

AFTERNOONS: Conference Sessions - Sunday 12^th - Wednesday 15^th August 2012
Conference sessions are held daily from 4:30pm-7:30pm and consist of two or three presentations, questions for the presenters, group discussions and group activities.

NIGHTS: Conference Dinners - Sunday 12^th - Wednesday 15^th August 2012
Delegates, their families, speakers and sponsors all gather for group dinners at four of Mt Buller's finest restaurants.

• Accompanying adults and children are able to attend the Registration Evening and conference dinners, but are not permitted to attend the conference sessions.
• Non-delegates are also entitled to discounts on lift passes.

Accommodation

Conference registration does not include accommodation. Accommodation is to be booked individually, allowing you to choose a lodge, apartment or hotel to suit your budget and family or individual needs. Mt Buller offers a variety of accommodation types, from small boutique bed and breakfasts to full service hotels.

Getting to Mt Buller

Only 248kms north east of Melbourne, Mt Buller is the most accessible snow resort in Australia. Whether you are from Victoria or interstate, there are plenty of alternatives to get you to Mt Buller in the most convenient, affordable manner to suit your needs.

If you are travelling from interstate to Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport, there are several coaches that travel from the airport to Mt Buller. Coaches to Mt Buller are also available from Melbourne City, Southern Cross Station, Geelong and Mansfield on a regular basis. Alternatively, you can enjoy the 3-4 hour drive from Melbourne to Mt Buller in your own car or a hire car, taking in some magnificent scenery along the way.
